All by myself in Amazing Antique: Part 1 - Tibiao

It was our term break, perfect timing for a short out of town escapade. I chose Antique because this is the only place I've left behind in Panay Island. My plane landed in Roxas City, so I have to travel for about 6 hours from Roxas City to Kalibo, then Kalibo to Tibiao, Antique. I arrived in Tibiao at night around 7pm, but good thing the innkeeper of the guest house where I will stay waited for me on the road. Upon alighting from the bus, the innkeeper waited for me with a habal driver. It was quite a long ride and a bit dark. So when we arrived at Brgy. Tuno, I have to log in my name and pay P200.00 (P150 will be for the guide as we have to trek the guest house). I was surprised to learn that I am the only guest that time!

Where I stayed: Peter's Lodge (contact: Nerissa Cumla - 09989804726)
My room for three nights!

The entire house was mine for three days!!! :)

What I did: My guest house is super close to Bugtong Bato Falls, and this falls is the one being visited by the tourists. At night, the waterfalls is my music together with the buzz of other animals.

Bugtong Bato Falls

Next stop is the famous kawa. This is a must-do in Tibiao, Antique.

Kawa is best after plunging in the falls!

The best part is that you can do it in your own time if you stay at Peter's Lodge as they are close to the falls and they also have the kawa. By the way, kawa cost P200.00.
